There are many changes to report at Old Worthington Library!

  • The lower level of Old Worthington Library is officially closed.
  • The circulation desk has been completely removed.
  • The family restroom is open, but is now serving as the temporary women's restroom until renovations in the actual women's restroom are complete.
  • A new reference desk is in place at the top of the staircase leading to the lower level.
  • The downstairs copy machine has been moved to the lobby.
  • The lower level of Old Worthington Library will reopen in early February. In the meantime, patrons can reserve items from the nonfiction collection and/or ask staff members to retrieve items in person while visiting the Library.

When the lower level reopens, patrons will be greeted by a smaller reference desk. The staircase landing will also be remodeled and three new group/quiet study rooms will be available for use. The fiction collection will be relocated to the lower level, and the entire area will receive a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting.
