The circulation staff at Northwest Library was happy to return to their newly renovated space earlier this week. It looks great, and provides them with needed room to process materials at a faster rate.
Beginning Monday, February 11, patron access to the adult fiction and nonfiction collections will be temporarily unavailable at Northwest Library so that planned renovations, including new carpeting, painting and the rearrangement of bookshelves, can take place in that part of the building. This area will remain closed to the public for approximately one month.
To lessen the inconvenience to patrons, public computers have been relocated to the library’s meeting room. Patrons can still reserve items from the adult fiction/nonfiction collection and, during regular hours of operation, the Library will have designated staff members responsible for retrieving items.
Patrons can still access periodicals, the children's and teen collections, DVDs, music CDs and books-on-CD.
Please call Northwest Library Manager Monica Baughman at 807-2652 with any questions.
