Exciting progress is being made at Old Worthington Library! New furniture has arrived, including red-topped computer tables on the lower level and self-checkout stands. Dry-erase boards have also been installed in the quiet/group study rooms on the lower level and are ready for writing.
We anticipate that the children's department will move back to its newly renovated home in early May. After that, the teen collection, as well as audiovisual materials and new books, will be moved to the meeting room while the main reading room is renovated. Aside from work that needs to be done in the lobby, this is the last phase of construction at Old Worthington Library. We're almost done!
The renovation of the children's area at Northwest Library is on schedule with a tentative completion date of late May.
Finally, the drive-through pickup window at Northwest Library will open for business on April 29. That means you can get your reserved materials without ever leaving your car!
