Registrations are still being accepted for the next workshop in the library's writing series, Mark My Words.
On Jan. 31, the series continues with a workshop aimed at teaching adults how to write an amorous masterpiece. "Labor of Love" will be led by romance novelist and "USA Today" bestselling author Rosemary Laurey.
The program, which is scheduled from 2-4 pm at Old Worthington Library, will include an overview of the best romance writing as well as writing exercises and tips to inspire participants to incorporate their own romantic accounts into a future manuscript. Time will be reserved for questions and discussion.
The workshop is free, but registration is required; please call 807-2626. Mark My Words features quarterly programs aimed at introducing writers to a variety of writing styles and genres, thanks to the talents of some of central Ohio’s most renowned authors. Future workshops will focus on topics like humor writing and more.
Following "Labor of Love," the next Mark My Words session, "Writing the Novel," is scheduled on March 7.
