Is there a better holiday gift than a favorite shared memory or funny tale from your own pen?
Let Pat Snyder help you find your own stories and share them with family and friends on the page during the next workshop in the library's Mark My Words writing series. Come with a notebook, pen and open mind, and leave with the makings of a cherished holiday gift on December 5.
Mark My Words: A Gift of Writing will start at 2 pm at Northwest Library.
The workshop is free, but registration is required; please call 614-807-2626.
Pat Snyder is a lawyer and humor columnist for Columbus' Suburban News Publications. Her column, Balancing Act, discusses the challenges of being a working woman, mother and caregiver.
These stories, as well as other techniques for taking control, take center stage in her book, The Dog Ate My Planner: Tales & Tips from an Overbooked Life, which was released earlier this year.
Mark My Words features quarterly programs aimed at introducing writers to a variety of writing styles and genres, thanks to the talents of some of the area's most renowned authors.
