'Tis the season of giving and celebrating special moments with your friends and family. If your quest for the perfect gift is coming up short, don't forget about the Library!
You can make a contribution to the Library in honor of someone special, and we'll add a book to our collection in their name. You can also donate a book in memory of someone who has passed away.
Contributions in memory or in honor of someone can be made directly to Worthington Libraries (820 High Street, Worthington 43085). Please attach all relevant information, including people you would like us to notify and genre suggestions for the book (cooking, gardening, science fiction, etc.). When the book is added to the collection, it will include a bookplate with the name of the person for whom it was purchased.
If one book isn't enough, serious bibliophiles may enjoy a membership to the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries. The Friends Foundation provides thousands of dollars to the Library each year to support library programs and other initiatives, like the summer reading club for children. Membership starts at just $25.00 and includes advance notice of quarterly book sales, where members can shop early and purchase books and other items for only $1.00.
You can also make a contribution directly to the Worthington Libraries Endowment Fund to support the longterm financial stability of Worthington Libraries.
For more information on giving opportunities, please contact Lisa Fuller, director of community relations and development, by email at email@example.com or by phone at 614-807-2604.
