Illustration contest draws on kids' creativity

Don't be stingy! "Share the Love. Read." is the theme of this year's summer reading club, and the Library wants kids to share their creativity to help promote it!

Crayons, colored pencils or markers can all be used to draw pictures interpreting the theme of the 2010 reading club. Children in preschool through sixth grade are encouraged to get a bookmark template at any Worthington Libraries location and get drawing.

Participants can submit up to three drawings in the Illustration Contest. To be eligible for judging, entries must be received by March 31.

Worthington Libraries will turn winning contest entries into bookmarks to promote the summer reading club. Three entries each will be chosen in the preschool-kindergarten, first through third grade and fourth through sixth grade categories.
