The library's free job-related resources resume writing help, access to classifieds, industry and company information are invaluable, but they can't offer the same kind of insight job hunters would get from expert presenters and one-on-one coaching.
That's why, on March 18, seven central Ohio libraries will team up to offer Job Help Day @ Your Library.
Participating libraries include: Bexley Public Library, Columbus Metropolitan Library, Grandview Heights Public Library, Southwest Public Libraries, Upper Arlington Public Library, Westerville Public Library and Worthington Libraries.
Job Help Day @ Your Library will feature job-related presentations, programs, demonstrations and expert speakers at different library locations throughout Franklin County.
Each library system has unique sessions planned. Those attending Worthington Libraries Job Help Day programs, which are scheduled from 10am-3pm, can have their resume reviewed by experienced career advisors, learn the "do's and don'ts" of interviewing, get help with job search strategies, learn how people are using tools like blogs, Twitter and LinkedIn to find jobs and more!
All Job Help Day @ Your Library workshops are free and open to the public.
