Resume review can jump start job search

From health issues to home improvements, it's always important to get a second opinion. That's also true for your resume.

A critical piece of the job search, a resume does more than describe your job history, it also offers a well-structured presentation of your abilities and accomplishments. It must be correctly crafted.

Whether you've just drafted your first resume, or you're polishing up an existing one, the upcoming library program, 1 on 1: Resume Reviews, gives you the chance to have your resume looked at by a career expert during a 20-minute, one-on-one session.

When we say "career expert," we mean it! Our reviewers are human resources personnel, career advisors and talent recruiters, which means they know exactly what employers are looking for.

Don't miss this opportunity! Resume review sessions are planned at Old Worthington Library on June 23 from 7-9pm and at Northwest Library on August 10 from noon-2pm. Because there are a limited number of spaces available, registration is required. To sign-up for your own session, call 614-807-2626.
