Are you ready for some football? Then join us for the inaugural season of WFFL, the Worthington Fantasy Football League!
Teens can participate in the league's draft at either Old Worthington Library on August 29 at 6pm or Northwest Library on August 30 at 6:30pm. Study the stats so you can choose the best players for your team— the top performers earn prizes!
During both events, play Madden NFL 2010 or paper football, and when your first-round draft pick is announced, get your picture taken with the league commissioner— just like the pros!
A valid Yahoo! I.D. is needed to take part in the draft, so sign up for a Yahoo! account prior to August 29 (or August 30, if you plan to attend the Northwest Library draft). Registration is required to attend either event; call 614-807-2626.
Even if you can't attend the draft, you can still participate. Call the Library for a password that can be used to access the WFFL draft from your home computer.
