If you think you've missed the technology train, don't worry, something new is about to pull into the station!
During the week of September 11, Franklin County's public libraries will stage a special series of technology-related programs for beginners called Tech Help Week @ Your Library.
Learn how to upload your photos and videos, get computer and e-mail basics and talk tips for staying safe online. There will also be demonstrations and expert speakers at different library locations throughout Franklin County.
Each library system has unique sessions planned. Two Worthington Libraries programs, Tips & Tricks and Essential Software, will help participants get a handle on Windows 7 and the new Microsoft Office. They'll also go beyond Google's search engine capabilities in Life in the Google-verse and get a thorough Facebook introduction during Facebook 101.
All Tech Help Week @ Your Library workshops are free and open to the public.
Help us learn more about your future technology training needs by taking this brief survey.
Participating libraries include: Bexley Public Library, Columbus Metropolitan Library, Grandview Heights Public Library, Southwest Public Libraries, Upper Arlington Public Library, Westerville Public Library and Worthington Libraries.
