Get moving during Touch-A-Truck

Fire trucks, police cars and snow plows are always zooming off to work when you see them on the street. They're moving so fast, you can't get a good look at them!

Not during Touch-A-Truck, a popular Northwest Library program that gives children the chance to not only look at, but get up close to, fire trucks, moving trucks, busses, farm vehicles and lots more!

Scheduled Saturday, October 13, Touch-A-Truck isn't just for kids; starting at 11am, the whole family is invited to sit in a COTA bus, check out the tool compartments in the cab of an AEP bucket truck, talk to owners about their scooters and touch the brushes on a street sweeper.

A 30-minute storytime will kick-off the Touch-A-Truck event at 10:30am. Under fives will sing along to "Wheels on the Bus" and hear the rhyme, "Green Means Go." The books The Grumpy Dump Truck and I'm Your Bus will also be featured.
