Freegal (as in, free + legal) Music offers access to millions of songs from thousands of popular artists as well as thousands of music videos. Download music and video to your computer and play it on your MP3 player, smartphone or tablet.

Best of all, downloads from Freegal Music are yours to keep forever! Songs are available in MP3 format, free from digital rights management (DRM) restrictions— you can download and transfer music from your computer to your mobile device or even burn it to a CD.

Visit the Freegal Music website to search by song or album title, or artist or composer name. You can also browse more than 100 genres, from acapella to zydeco, hard rock to smooth jazz, Britpop to Bollywood. Check out new releases and see what's popular across the country and right here at Worthington Libraries.

Music and videos are available 24x7, with no waiting lists. You may download up to three songs per week. (Some "premium content," such as music videos, count as two downloads.) After reaching your download limit, you can save songs and videos to a wishlist for later download.

All you need to get started is your library card number and PIN! Freegal Music is available from any Web browser and also offers mobile apps for use on Apple and Android devices. For more information, visit the Freegal Music section of our Digital Media FAQ.
