Volunteens lessen summer stress

Teens looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend the summer should look no further than the Library, which currently needs enthusiastic and responsible volunteers.

Volunteens will assist at all three library locations by helping participants register for the 2013 Summer Reading League and handing out prizes. Volunteens also help with other library programs and projects as needed.

Volunteering at the Library is a great way to make a difference in the community, have tons of fun and meet new friends. It also helps improve communication skills, demonstrates responsibility and maturity and looks great on resumes and college applications.

All teens are welcome to volunteer at the Library this summer. To be eligible, they must be at least 12 years old or entering the seventh grade in the fall of 2013 and attend one orientation session.
