This shouldn't come out of left field, but spring training is nearly over and it's time for some major league summer reading!

Summer Reading LeagueFor those keeping score at home, this year's partnership with the Columbus Clippers is a three-peat, but that doesn't mean the prize lineup is the same. In fact, it's been expanded! Babies, children and teens can read their way to free food from Dairy Queen, First Watch and California Pizza Kitchen as well as summer fun from Worthington Pools, Chiller Ice Rinks, Magic Mountain Fun Centers and much more.

Players who read a complete game are eligible to receive tickets for themselves and an adult parent/guardian to a Columbus Clippers home baseball game (limit two adult tickets per family). They'll also be entered into grand prize drawings for either a brand-new bicycle or iPod Touch.

Don't get caught looking! Register online or, starting June 1, at any Worthington Libraries location; the league will continue through August 3.

Worthington Libraries' 2013 Summer Reading League is presented by the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries and the Columbus Clippers.

Additional support is provided by California Pizza Kitchen, Chiller Ice Rinks, City Barbecue, Columbus Museum of Art, Dairy Queen, Donatos Pizza, First Watch, Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Igloo Letterpress, Magic Mountain Fun Centers, McConnell Arts Center, Skate Zone 71, Toyville, Worthington Parks & Recreation and Worthington Pools.
