hoopla is a new service you can use to access over 300,000 items— and not just movies, but also audiobooks and music— and all you need is a library card.

Why all the hub-bub over hoopla?

  • No late fees! When the lending period ends, titles are automatically removed from your device. Lending periods vary from three days for video, seven days for music and 21 days for audiobooks. You can borrow up to 10 titles per month.
  • No waiting for materials to become available! An unlimited number of people can borrow the same item.
  • Use more than one device! hoopla is cloud-based, so you could borrow a title on your computer and watch it on your smartphone— anywhere there's an Internet connection.

Choose from a variety of current and classic audiobook titles. You'll find comedy, mysteries, action and adventure and much more, even categories for children and teens. Browse the selection of television programs for crime shows, documentaries and dramas as well as home and lifestyle, how to and more. Choose music from among country, jazz, dance, pop and many other genres. What sounds good for movie night this week? hoopla has categories for independent, romance, sci-fi and fantasy, suspense/thriller— there's something for everyone.
