The Board of Trustees of Worthington Libraries welcomed Zita Hunt as the organization's newest member at their organizational meeting held on January 21, 2014.
Ms. Hunt will serve a term of seven years and fills the board seat left vacant by Dan Lacey, who left the board in December after serving for seven years.

In her application to serve on the board, Ms. Hunt wrote:
I want to help our library system keep abreast of the changing needs of its patrons. It is especially necessary to focus on making resources available to early learners, as reading skill has been shown to be a high predictor of success in education and life.

Craig Baker, James Hill and Linda Mercadante. The Board meets regularly once per month and holds committee meetings as needed throughout the year.
