Enter an upcoming Library competition and you may never look at titles like If You Give a Pig a Pancake or Argyle in quite the same way!

To enter the library's sixth annual Edible Books Contest, scheduled April 1 at Northwest Library, your entirely edible entry must have a book or literary theme.

All ages are encouraged to enter the competition— there's even a Child/Family category, for participants under the age of 18. Entries will be judged by Beth Stallings, the editor of Crave magazine, and Debra O'Molesky, a guide for Columbus Food Adventures.

A Professional category will see area bakers Batter and Bowl, Becky's Bakery, HoneyKiss Bakery, Rogue Bakery, Shawnee Hills Bakery, Sweet Sensations by A.M.A., Eleni Christina, Tia's Cupcakes and More, Patisserie Lallier and Piece of Cake competing for bragging rights. All others may enter the Amateur category.

Registration and set up starts at 6pm and judging and viewing will take place from 7-8:30pm, at which time awards will be presented and the entries eaten.
