In brief
I can't help but think this would be GREAT for a book club, especially one that is all women who like wine.
Are you a girl in your 20s/early 30s? Then you should really consider reading this book because you and your friends are in it. Yes, you! And some of your friends! Rarely do I find myself laughing out loud while reading, but Girls in White Dresses left me no choice. There are parts that beg to be read aloud to friends.
We all love our friends who get married (that's why we agree to be in the wedding!), but there are plenty of times weddings are so stressful (and crazy!), you just have to laugh. Girls in White Dresses follows Isabella, Mary and Lauren as they deal with their own lives in the midst of babies and weddings.
Isabella and her dead-end job, Mary and her mama's boy boyfriend and Lauren and her bad taste in men will keep you laughing at the beginning and sorry to let these characters go at the end.
