Raw and intense, this book has some violent moments, but it's hard to put down!
At Oregrove High School, football is king. The football players rule the hallways and the locker rooms until the guys gymnastics team retaliates and starts a prank war. After a steroid-infused prank has devastating consequences, an unlikely bond forms between Danny from the gymnastics team and Kurt, the new kid who is quiet at school but a star on the football field. Can their newly-formed friendship end the bullying and intimidation at Oregrove?
This book grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go until you've read the last page! This story is very intense, but it's an important story about bullying. I would recommend this to older teens and adults due to some language and sexual violence.
