Jessie Crockett's first book in the Sugar Grove Mystery series is part Janet Evanovich, part Donna Andrews and a whole lot of fun. There's just enough zaniness to keep things interesting, but it never takes over the entire story.
I read a ton of cozy mysteries, and I'll be anxiously awaiting the next caper set in Sugar Grove.
