Cute, cute, cute, that's what this book is! And it's full of practical advice for any young vampire looking to become a ballerina.
Vampirina is clever, funny, wise, and I adore her. I couldn't help but be charmed by this sweet story of a girl who is a little bit different but still dreams of being a ballerina.
Little Vampirina works hard to get what she wants, and her family pitches in to help her succeed. She gives good advice-- "A mistake here or there is not a reflection on your talent"-- and makes readers realize that just because you are different, you are not strange or unlikable.
This gorgeous book takes black, white and pink illustrations and adds irresistible sparkles to make the drawings complete. Everything has a cool vintage feel about it. LeUyen Pham's illustrations have a Mary Blair style to them.
