Teatime for Pakistan

Three Cups of Tea, the bestselling memoir by Greg Mortensen, tells of the author's efforts to promote literacy and education in rural Afghanistan and Pakistan. His organization, Central Asia Institute, supports community-based education, especially for girls, in these remote areas.

Come join us for an evening of Pakistani culture, including a presentation on the importance of education for women and girls in Pakistan, as well as authentic tabla and sitar music and light refreshments.

Donations to the Central Asia Institute will be accepted. Cosponsored by the Worthington International Friendship Association.
