Shoveling the sidewalk, scraping your car, donning all manner of outdoor gear for a 10-second dash to grab the newspaper; aren't Ohio winters great?
In February, the Library offers a light at the end of the cold, gray tunnel in the form of a Friday afternoon music series. What could be more relaxing at the end of a long winter week than to sit comfortably by a fire soaking up the sounds of some of central Ohio's most talented musicians, like the Ukulele Cowboy Society?
Featuring Jesse Chandler and Michael Kaplan, the Ukulele Cowboy Society is a fun and eclectic jazz and swing-style duo that puts a new spin on Billie Holiday, Hank Williams, Cole Porter and more.
February by the Fire is sponsored by the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries, and coordinated in partnership with the Jazz Arts Group.
