Hear & Now Author Series: George Bilgere

Celebrate National Poetry Month with a reading by Pushcart Prize-winning poet George Bilgere, the author of several poetry collections including The Good Kiss, which was selected by former U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins as the winner of the 2001 University of Akron Poetry Prize.

Bilgere, who teaches at John Carroll University in Cleveland, has received grants, fellowships and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Fulbright Foundation and others. His work is regularly featured on The Writers Almanac with Garrison Keillor.
