February by the Fire: Dan Rowan

There's nothing like a crackling fire and great music to make you forget that the weather outside is frightful.

Spend the end of a weary winter week in the library's "living room" for February by the Fire, a Friday afternoon music series sponsored by the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries, and coordinated in partnership with Jazz Arts Group.

February 1: Dan Rowan, piano/vocals
Whether your tastes follow the standards made famous by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Ella Fitzgerald, or lean toward thoughtful arrangements of more recent music by Burt Bacharach, Elton John and Billy Joel, Dan Rowan, former house pianist at the Hyatt on Capitol Square, won't disappoint.
