All-Ages Poetry Competition

Ink runs from the corners of my mouth.
There is no happiness like mine.
I have been eating poetry.

Digest the sentiments of poet Mark Strand and enter your own work in the library's all-ages competition, which runs through March 22.

To enter the competition, pick up an entry form and a complete set of rules at any Worthington Libraries location in mid-February. You may submit up to two poems March 1-22.

A panel of judges will review all submissions and select three winners in the following categories: grades K-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9-12 and adult.

First place winners will have their work displayed throughout the library system. All entrants will be invited to present at open mic readings on April 26.
