Teen Readers' Theatre Troupe takes picture books, turns them into scripts and performs them live for children. Watch the teens perform "Down on the Farm."

In the first segment, the Teen Reader's Theatre is introduced. The troupe then performs a version of the book, Rooster Can't Cock-a-Doodle-Doo by Karen Rostoker-Gruber, illustrations by Paul Rátz de Tagyos. They then lead the audience in a quacktacular rendition of the song, Three Little Ducks.

In the second segment, the troupe performs their version of the book, Moo Who? by Margie Palatini, illustrations by Keith Graves. They then ask everyone to sing along to Old MacDonald Had A Farm, taking animal suggestions from the audience.

In the third segment, the troupe enacts the book, Oink? by Margie Palatini, illustrations by Henry Cole. They then sing their rendition of PIGGY (sung to the tune of BINGO).

In the fourth segment, the troupe enacts the book, Giggle, Giggle, Quack by Doreen Cronin, illustrations by Betsy Lewin. They then sing their rendition of The Higgy Piggy (sung to the tune of The Hokey Pokey).

In the fifth and final segment, the troupe performs their version of the book, The Ornery Morning by Patricia Brennan Demuth, illustrations by Craig McFarland Brown. They then accept a well-deserved round of applause.
