Library Trustee Search

Worthington Libraries is accepting applications to fill a seat on the Library's Board of Trustees that will become vacant when Trustee Jeff Lyttle's term ends December 31, 2008. Library Renovation Project Scope

Both libraries in the Worthington Libraries system (Old Worthington Library and Northwest Library) will be renovated this year. Construction at both facilities is scheduled to begin in July and, if everything goes according to current plans, will be finished in September 2008. The budget for both projects is $3,590,390. Worthington AM Rotary Makes Contribution to New Worthington Park Library

At its July 17 board meeting, the Worthington Libraries Board of Trustees approved a resolution to appropriate funds to open a storefront library in the Worthington Park shopping center. The new Worthington Park Library will occupy 5,280 square feet of space in the shopping center, near a grocery store and within walking distance of Worthington Park Elementary School. Read more...
