Letter knowledge— knowing the different letters in the alphabet and that each letter makes a different sound.
- Read a basic ABC book to your baby. A is for apple, B is for bear.
- Have your toddler point out objects that begin with a certain letter. Today's letter is "C"-cat, crayon, and car.
- Write your child's name together.
- Make letters out of clay or Play-Doh.
