- Sing rhyming songs such as "The Itsy Bitsy Spider."
- Say nursery rhymes together so that your child hears words that rhyme.
- Ask your older child whether two words rhyme together like "cat" and "hat."
- Play word games such as, "What sounds like 'ran'?"
