- Allow your baby to explore books— even if it means he just chews on them!
- Keep books in a toy box or on a low shelf so they are accessible.
- Find a time to read when you and your child will both enjoy it.
- Read a book about something that interests your child.
- Read a non-fiction book together— you don’t have to read every word.
