During the teen summer reading program, earn points by reading books, attending library programs and commenting on the Worthingteens blog!

Seriously groovy programs will turn the library into the hippest teen hangout around. Preserve the summer of 2010 by making a time capsule, channel your inner Andy Warhol by creating a pop art collage or step out of a DIY workshop with beaded jewelry and tie dyed threads.

How it works

Fill in space(s) on your Reading Record for each activity completed:

• Reading a book: 3 squares
• Posting comments to the Worthingteens blog: 1 square
• Attending a library program: 1 square

Take your Reading Record to the library location where you signed up to get your prizes:

• Prize #1 (15 points)
  a coupon sheet full of summertime offers
• Prize #2 (30 points)
  a retro clock, and an entry into a grand prize drawing for one of three $50 Polaris Fashion Place gift cards

But don't stop, read on! Pick up a Read On sheet and for every 5 activities you complete, you get another grand prize entry.
