Schoolwork piling up? Not quite sure how to complete an assignment? Your options for homework help from Worthington Libraries just tripled!

Old Worthington Library Homework Help CenterConstruction was recently completed on brand-new homework help centers (HHC) at Old Worthington Library and Northwest Library, and they are now open for business.

In 2008, Worthington Libraries opened its first Homework Help Center, located in the Worthington Park Library. Since it opened, use of the center has increased dramatically. The center currently serves more than 35 students each week. In 2011, Homework Help Center use increased 30 percent.

Together with library staff, Volunteens from area high schools and adult volunteers ensure the Homework Help Centers are positive environments where students receive assistance with their homework assignments. (Would you like to join our Homework Help Center volunteers? We're accepting applications now.)

Students can learn to use the library's print resources and the wide array of research databases and other online resources for students available on the library website.

Computers equipped with Internet access, Microsoft Office and other educational software are reserved for student use during center hours. Printing is available free of charge for homework assignments.

Homework help services are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All students grades K-12 are welcome to attend.

The Homework Help Centers are open Monday through Thursday after school during the school year.
