Natsumi's Song of Summer book cover
Library partners with downtown Worthington businesses for Story Stroll

Enjoy a Story Stroll in downtown Worthington!

Throughout the month of June, a number of downtown businesses will have individual pages of the picture book, Natsumi's Song of Summer, hanging in their High Street- (or close to High Street-) facing windows or doors. The Story Stroll begins at Old Worthington Library. Begin there and pick up a map at the accounts desk or in the children's area (or download and print the map below), then gather your family and walk from business to business reading the pages and completing the early literacy prompts that accompany the story.

Natsumi's Song of Summer, by Robert Paul Weston, celebrates summer in Japan, as one little girl shares her love for beaches and bugs, festivals and fireworks with her cousin, who is visiting from America.
