Camp Read S'more—for babies, kids, teens & adults

RV there yet?? Yes! The library's 2016 Summer Reading Club is here!

During this outdoor-themed adventure, books and do-it-yourself activities can become gift cards, bikes, tech toys and free food. Programs help you reach the finish line, too! Camp out to see wild animals, talk books, play games, make stuff and much more.

Register online or in person at any Worthington Libraries location (Old Worthington Library, Northwest Library and Worthington Park Library).

To o"fish"ally finish:

  • Little kids (5 & under) will complete the program after 7.5 hours.
  • Big kids (6-11) will complete the program after 10 hours.
  • Teens (12-18) and adults will complete the program after 15 hours.

This year, you don't have to wait long for prize opportunities! Not only do you score a temporary tattoo just for registering, by completing adventure activities you can be entered into prize drawings for gift cards every week.

Earn these great prizes:

  • Midpoint: Kids and teens can choose a color craze bookmark or rainbow writer pencil.
  • Completion: Kids and teens will earn an embroidered patch and a coupon sheet with discounts and freebies from several area restaurants and organizations. Adults receive a coupon for a free book at the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries book sale.
  • Grand Prizes and Read S'more: Kids, teens and adults who complete the program are entered into grand prize drawings. Kids could get a bike, teens and adults could win a mini tablet! But don't stop there, read s'more! The more you do, the more entries you get. Prize winner names will be drawn on August 1. Winners have two weeks to claim their prize.
