Tax services

Worthington Libraries is a great place to find tax information.

Changes from the IRS in recent years mean we will not have the large selection of tax forms you've come to expect in the past.

But we've got you covered! In addition to copies of Form 1040, Form 1040A and Form 1040EZ (and their corresponding instruction booklets), we have several ways to help you through the 2017 tax season.

  • Library staff will maintain a binder of the most common tax forms, so you can make copies.
  • Once you find the tax forms you need, print them for free (up to 10 pages).
  • If you decide to skip the forms altogether by using the library's computers to file your taxes online, speak to library staff to request extended computer sessions.
  • Tax preparation help is available at Worthington Park Library on Tuesdays, February 7 through April 11. Registration is required for the AARP Tax-Aide sessions.

While library staff members cannot prepare taxes or answer specific tax-related questions, they can assist you in locating the information you need. Library staff is available to help locate forms and identify additional tax resources.
