Sugar in Milk

by
Thrity N. Umrigar

published in

Cover art
December 30, 2022 Becca B says:
A lushly illustrated— dare I say, sweet— story about just how much room there is in the word "home."
The folktale depicted in this book was a part of the author's Zoroastrian upbringing as a Parsi child in India, but resonates for children of all backgrounds, especially those coming to a new homeland.

Headshot of Becca B

Becca B

I work in adult services. I read a diverse array, including memoirs, graphic novels, horror, middle grade and more! I have a fear of being asked to lead storytimes and a fondness for television—good or bad. I love organization projects, baking, nail polish and ranting to my friends.
