Worthington Libraries recently received an Auditor of State Award with Distinction for the 2024 audit from the office of Keith Faber, state auditor of Ohio.
The Auditor of State Award with Distinction is given to entities that file an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and receive a "clean" audit report.
The Library also earned the Highest Achievement in Open and Transparent Government Award through the Sunshine Law Star Rating System (StaRS) by meeting every Sunshine Law requirement and implementing many best practices.
