Worthington Libraries is a great place to find tax information. While library staff cannot prepare taxes or answer specific tax-related questions, they can assist you in locating the information you need. We offer many print and online tax resources, including links to IRS-certified volunteers can provide help with tax return preparation and electronic filing for qualified individuals.
Every year we participate in the IRS Tax Forms Outlet Program (TFOP). We offer a small selection of preprinted tax forms and instruction booklets from the IRS in our libraries. Additional forms are available online.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program
AARP Tax-Aide counselors provide in-person or virtual tax assistance to anyone, free of charge. Counselors are certified by the IRS to provide tax preparation services and are trained each year on state and federal tax regulations. To find an AARP Tax-Aide location, visit the AARP Tax-Aide Locator.
The official IRS site has a comprehensive list of federal forms, instructions and publications for download. To receive paper forms by mail, submit an online request or call the IRS at 1-800-829-3676. The IRS also provides links to online filing, including Free File for individuals with an adjusted gross income (AGI) less than $84,000.
Ohio tax forms and instructions are available through the Department of Taxation's website or by calling 1-800-282-1782. Use Ohio's Tax Finder to look up Ohio public school district income tax information. Ohio also offers free online filing for individuals.
Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA)
RITA provides services to collect income tax for select Ohio municipalities, including the City of Worthington.
