Everything you imagine!

There's no need to register for the summer reading club. Start your journey by visiting any Worthington Libraries location to pick up a reading record-- or download one -- and a sheet of weekly raffle tickets, then go forth and seek adventure!

Charting a course

You're in charge of this adventure, so do any combination of the following:

Read

  • Ages 5 and under must read in 15-minute increments
  • Ages 6-11 must read in 20-minute increments
  • Ages 12 and up must read in 30-minute increments

Attend programs

Let wanderlust lead you to the library for imaginative programming-- check our calendar for all the fun!

Complete DIY or early literacy activities

Download a list of DIY Activities for creative ways to complete the club, like crafting a treasure map, exploring a local park, singing a lullaby to your baby-- the possibilities are endless!

A pack of prizes

Once your reading record is complete, visit the Library to turn it in, pick up a prize and be entered into the grand prize drawing.

The adventure continues

There's no need to stop once you've turned in your reading record and collected your prize. Vote for the library's Columbus Zoo and Aquarium sponsor animals. Three of the following will be chosen: Amur tiger, Mexican wolf, red panda and Southern hairy-nosed wombat. All the things you did to complete the program (see Charting a course, above) earn you extra votes!

Choose Your Adventure weekly prize drawings

Would you rather live in a treehouse or on a boat, visit the moon or the ocean floor? Answer silly questions like these and, in return, you could win fun prizes! Pick up your ticket sheet at any library location. To participate each week, cut out the current week's ticket, fill out the contact information and take it to the library to submit your answer. No matter your answer to the adventure question, you'll be entered in the week's drawing. There will be one winner per library.

Thank you!
