Aim for the stars!

To start your summer reading mission:

 Register now!

Then, download a  reading record, or pick one up at the library, and proceed to launch!

How to navigate the program

Do any combination of the following:

Read

  • Ages 5 and under must read in 15-minute increments
  • Ages 6-11 must read in 20-minute increments
  • Ages 12 and up must read in 30-minute increments

Attend programs

Gravitate toward the library for out-of-this-world programming-- check our calendar for all the fun!

Complete DIY or early literacy activities

Download a list of  DIY activities for creative ways to complete the club, like coordinating a snack challenge, exploring a local park, singing a lullaby to your baby-- the sky's the limit!

A constellation of prizes

Once your reading record is complete, visit the Library to turn it in, pick up a prize and be entered into the grand prize drawing.

  • Choose a book of your own to keep.

Adults

Signup prize

  • Choose a book from the Friends Foundation book sale at your favorite Worthington Libraries location.

Completion prize

  • Coupons from local businesses for food and fun!

Grand prize prize drawing

Complete the club and you could win a $100 VISA gift card. Prize winner names will be drawn the first week of August. Winners have two weeks to claim their prize.

Continue the mission

After you've turned in your reading record and collected your prize. Don't stop there! Read on and vote for the library’s Columbus Zoo and Aquarium sponsor animals. Three of the following will be chosen: giraffe, lynx, small-clawed otter, python. The more reading done, library programs attended, DIY and early literacy activities completed, the more votes you get!
